Prayers for Freedom

Spiritual Warfare for Families

Below are some suggested prayers we can pray for our children and our children’s children.

Thank you that “our children are a heritage from the Lord” (Psalm 127:3). Pray that the Lord would help, save and shield them from all harm.

We thank you Lord, that our children and grandchildren are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). Pray that the Lord would protect those who are right now being “knitted together in their mother’s womb” (Psalm 139:13).

Pray that our children would “love the Lord their God with all their heart and with all their soul and with all their mind and all their strength” (Mark 12:30) and that they “may obtain salvation that is in Jesus Christ, with eternal glory” (2 Timothy 2:10).

Pray that our children and grandchildren would “dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1). Pray that the “Lord would be their refuge and their fortress” (Psalm 91:2). Pray that they would be clothed with Christ (Galatians 3:26) and would put on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Pray that our children would know the Lord’s voice and would follow him so that they will never perish or be snatched away (John 10:27-29).

Thank you Lord, that you know even the number of hairs upon our children’s heads (Matthew 10:30). Pray that all things would work together for their good (Romans 8:28) and that the good work the Lord has begun within them would continue on to completion (Philippians 1:6).

Pray that prodigal children would “come to themselves” (Luke 15:17) and return to the waiting embrace of their heavenly Father (Luke 15:20).

Thank you Lord, for the gift of the Holy Spirit which was promised for us and for our children (Acts 2:38-39). Pray that our children may be empowered witnesses for Jesus Christ in this world (Acts 1:8).

Thank you that our children are saved by grace and not through works (Ephesians 2:8) and that they are “God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works” (Ephesians 2:10).

Pray that the peace, the shalom of God, which transcends all understanding would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7. Amen.

Prayer protection for your home, business – any place that which have authority over

I invite the Father Son and Holy Spirit to take all authority over me, my family and my house and property. I surrender everything to Him.

I pray a hedge of protection of the fire of God around my property-from corner to corner, to corner to corner.

I bind all demonic forces in chains of light, truth, power and authority of Jesus Christ who have a legal right here or that have been assigned to my family and me.

I separate them from one and another and send them to the feet of Jesus never return.

I break all curses sent by demonic forces and send them back where they came from as judgment of the Lord.

Jesus send your angels to take those places and to minister and protect us.

I bless my family and myself with the presence of Jesus; to have dreams, a vision of Him. I pray that we would hear and obey Jesus and walk in His authority.

Take the blindfold that Satan around my daughters’ (sons’) eyes and reveal your truth to them so that they would come to know and obey you.

Jesus be glorified in our life today. I love you, Fill us with your Holy Spirit.
